I didn’t know how to title this post. So, I hope it at least made you want to see what it’s about!

Here it is in a nutshell: Goals don’t have to be big!
I know, most of the goal information is about your ultimate dream, your driving purpose, your lifelong ambition. You know what? Those things are important. But, don’t try to get a grip on all of those before you set goals!
You have important things to accomplish in the next few months that are not your ultimate dream. They probably relate to that dream (if you’ve identified it) but they are not your ultimate dream.
Here’s another tip: If you have a three month goal and it’s your ultimate dream, you are either to close too cashing it in (in which case, I empathize with you and encourage you) or you are dreaming TOO SMALL!
So, set small, important goals too. They will help you gain traction toward your bigger goals. Or, if you just have something in your life that needs to be fixed, figure out what it is, set your goals to fix it, figure out how to accomplish it, and get to work!
Your smaller goal will still help you improve your life! And, more importantly, accomplishing it might help you believe in yourself so you can tackle bigger goals. If that happens, your small goal has really given you big dividends!
Go ahead, accomplish that small goal…then, feel good about your accomplishment! I remember reading somewhere, “Rome wasn’t built in a day!”
